Supporting Afghan refugees
Today we donated more than £20,000 of clothing to help meet the critical needs of refugee babies and children recently arrived into the UK from Afghanistan, following the emergency evacuation of Kabul.
We partnered with RE:ACT Disaster Response, a humanitarian charity that responds rapidly to disasters and emergencies in the UK and overseas.
Pictured here are Jo and Scarlett from Kite, Cheryll Rogers who connected us with RE:ACT, and their volunteers Duncan and Paul.
If you would like to get involved, Cheryll is looking for support both locally and from further afield. Find out more here.
Update 9th September: Listen to our founder Jo discussing our efforts on BBC Radio Solent here.
