Kite and Royal Museums Greenwich
It's time to take to the skies and join Sunny the seagull as he soars across London.
Sunny is a big fan of the Royal Museums Greenwich, a top-10 UK visitor attraction and home to the Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House.
Come along and visit two of Sunny's favourite sites and shop the five new styles that we have created in collaboration with Royal Museums Greenwich.
First up, it's a visit to the Cutty Sark. This celebrated sailing ship, built in 1869, was the fastest of its time.
In the 1880s, the Cutty Sark made many voyages across the world transporting tea from China and wool from Australia. Whilst serving as a British merchant ship, the Cutty Sark travelled the equivalent of two and a half voyages to the moon and back!
Next stop is the Royal Observatory. Sunny the seagull's favourite thing to do here is walk (and balance on!) the Prime Meridian Line, and you can do it too.
The line represents the historic Prime Meridian of the World that divided the eastern and western hemispheres. It was also chosen as the reference line for Greenwich Mean Time in the late 19th century.
